December 31, 2003 To all my friends: Happy New Year to you all from Kuwait. Writing you this message of hope and love at 10:06 pm, 2206 hours military time. My son, Stephen is in Iskanderia, Iraq fighting the good fight. As I mentioned last week he was awarded the Combat Infantry Man's Badge on Christmas Eve. I am very proud of him. I am counting down the days to return home for good. Our replacement unit arrives 15 January. I must stay until 19 April or there about. 100 days or so. Look forward to seeing you all! I'll be home for boating season this year! Yes. Thanks to all who have been faithful in keeping up with me by email, through my dearest friend Rhonda at my office, letters, packages etc. Love to you all Trey/Steve
