Dear Senator Frist, and Ga Senate. As a patient, I am very concerned with the Medicare cuts that will go into effect in January. As millions of baby boomers retire and enter into our nation's health care system, it makes no sense why these cuts should continue. As you should know by now, an American Medical Association survey discovered that 45 percent of doctors will stop accepting or will decrease the number of new Medicare patients they accept. I know there isn't much time to act on these cuts, but this current Congressional session does offer you an opportunity to take action. There is broad bi–partisan support to prevent the cuts from taking place – and both parties need to act to ensure health care access for seniors is not jeopardized. Please take action to stop these cuts and preserve my family's access to health care. Thank you for your attention to this important matter. Pamela McKaig
