As the World Turns

Global warming may be a lead indicator. Climatic affects, such as the increased brewing of storms and hurricanes, also is an indicator. Despite the ranting of Howard Dean and wacko- environmentalists, SUVs are not the culprit. What amazes me is how most of the so-called ‘scientific community’ are ignoring conditions that are, truly, right beneath their feet.

Let me explain.

Researchers are now exploring eight (8) relatively new, undersea volcanoes located off the coast of New Zealand, called the ‘arc of fire,’ which are daily spewing more heat and toxic substances into the oceans than all the manufacturing plants in North America. This problem would not change if the Kyoto Treaty were approved, as Democrats have demanded, and America closed-down its economy.

The total number of undersea lava and heat vents is not even known, or, to my knowledge, estimated. There may be thousands. Whether they are increasing is not being studied, or at least not reported. The combined thermal output of the vents is immense and may be contributing more atmospheric pollution than all the gas-powered vehicles on the planet. Oil consumption may not be the most important environmental challenge. Oil dependence certainly is a long-term economic challenge.

The volcanoes and vents are indicators of much deeper phenomena. The inner, molten core of the earth may be cooling.  This liquefied mixture of iron and nickel is what produces the magnetism that sends electromagnetic waves out of the South Pole, which encircle the globe and re-enter the core at the North Pole. These emanations create a penumbra that actually wards-off solar winds and deadly radiation.

It is thought that the inner core of Mars was once hot and active, generating the same magnetic field, but that it went cold. The generation of magnetism ended and the planet, unprotected from the solar winds and radiation, lost its atmosphere and died. Is this the future of Earth?

The other concern is that the magnetism-generating inner core is moving, which may explain the up tick in indicators, mentioned above. The Earth’s polarity may soon flip, or actually reverse. Such a flip has happened 170 times in the history of the Earth, though the last time was over 700,000 ago. Scientists suggest that we are 200,000 years overdue for such an event. They also suggest that the process has already begun. It would be the first time in known human history that such an event has occurred.

The polarity flip might not suddenly occur. There could be an interim period when there could be several polar fields with unknown affect on the production of the protective electromagnetic umbrella that we sometimes see reflected in the ‘northern lights’ called the Aurora Borealis (or ‘southern lights’ in the other hemisphere, known as the Australis Borealis).

We have no idea how such a polarity change may affect life on Earth, as we know it today. Would the electromagnetic shield still be there to protect human, animal, and plant life? Would there be an unprotected period when deadly radiation might eradicate most living things?  How would a polarity transition impact satellites, communication, computers, and other magnetic-based devices?

Those who want to blame our President for anything and everything are blinded from the obvious by their delusions and mind-clouding hatred. They have an overwhelming agenda that does not allow other views that do not comport with their power-focused goals. It is sad that they cannot recognize a simple truth in all of this: we are all in this together, and there may be little we can do to affect the changes that are coming.

Our energies and our attention need to be coordinated so that we may seek strategies to cope with these truly Earth-shaking changes. When awareness comes, will CNN to incessantly play a clip of Al Gore screaming, “He lied! He said we should stay calm! We’re all going to die!” Will that be followed by Howard Dean screaming, as he did after the Iowa caucus, “Arrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!”?  Dean, Gore, and their crowd won’t care whether the Earth actually may die, but only whether their team is holding power when it happens.
