Francia se está quemando, otra vez. Who cares? His Pompousness, President Jacque Chirac, dithers while the Supreme Poo-Poo, Prime Minister Dominique de Villepin, suggests feeding cake to the car-burning, rioting, Islamic and African youths, might be all that is needed to restore calm de la France. If the rioting escalates, the entire French economic and political system might collapse beneath its rotten, corrupt carcass. The French gendarmes are as impotent as the French military facing German armies. The gene pool of French manhood largely disappeared after the 1815 defeat at Waterloo. Since then, France has survived by playing the harlot in international affairs, sleeping with the Germans during their occupations, and riding on the heels of American-British strength to reclaim a seat at the table of power. It has subsisted by feeding like a leech on weak and defenseless colonies in Africa and Indochina, until expelled with its tail between its legs. It was a cowardly compromiser in the Cold War conflict with Communism. It’s unlikely the young Islamo-facists may burn the place to the ground because the whore mind-set of France will seek to buy-off the radicals in order to maintain their privileges and comforts. That would include protecting local terror cells and whatever else might be requsted, such as the French did with Saddam Hussein and are now doing with the soon-to-be, nuclear-enabled Iranians. Should Americans begin a special fund to assist the ‘France Liberation Front’ rioters so they may complete the destruction of Corrupt France? Should Secretary of State Rice open negotiations with the leaders of the FLF, and, perhaps, offer weapons (though probably not needed to intimidate French authorities), financial aid, and other forms of support? The dismantling of the current French government would actually advance American interests and serve the cause of justice and peace in the world. Maybe American Senate Democrats should be dispatched to witness FLF tactics, which they surely applaud, as they now daily testify to the goodness of Saddam Hussein and the lack of a threat he posed to America, his neighbors, and his own people. Perhaps some would stay, including the French-looking (and sounding) Junior Senator from Massachusetts. Who better to help negotiate the sell-out of France to the radicals, just as they sold out Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos to the communists, almost sold-out Eastern Europe to the Soviets, and now seek to sell-out the freshly-freed people of Afghanistan and Iraq? These masters of compromise could travel with their toady, Koffi Annan, who surely will be rushing to offer oil-options to the Islamic rioters, which the UN General Secretary and his family, along with so many leaders of France, have in such abundance. Ah, sweet it is to watch the evening news and see the French fry. One can hope the flames will not be quenched until the Villa de Vichy has been reduced to ashes.
